The Kane Regional Office of Education (ROE) provides resources and support for students, parents, educators, and community members. The ROE licensure department serves and assists educators in Kane County in all aspects of their credential needs.

The ROE office serves as a resource providing a location for fingerprinting and an authorized Pearson VUE Testing Center. The Pearson VUE Testing Center is a location where the public can take a variety of certification tests, such as the GED, Illinois Licensure Testing System (ILTS), Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Illinois State Fire Marshal, and Pharmacy Technician.

Regional Superintendent Patricia Dal Santo commented, “The ROE testing facility offers the ease of having a professional testing center located in the Geneva area. The testing experience is seamless and supports the next step in everyone’s educational or professional journey.”

The ROE testing center is in a temperature-controlled environment equipped with modern technology for maximum concentration during the testing process. The center has recently been updated to accommodate COVID-19 regulations. Testers are six feet apart, and plexiglass dividers have been installed in between every monitor to ensure a safe environment.

Every test-taker is different. The Kane County ROE is committed to providing equitable access to testing for all. If you need accommodations during your test, the ROE can help.
