STUDENT SERVICES
The student services provided by the Kane County ROE include a range of Alternative Learning programs as well as systems and supports for students and families experiencing hardships. These services include:
- Alternative Learning Opportunities Program (ALOP)
- Regional Safe Schools Program (RSSP)
- Community Intervention/Truancy Prevention Programs
- Equal Chance Program (McKinney-Vento eligible children)
- Education at the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center

The Kane County ROE is also committed to providing students with opportunities to demonstrate their interest and expand upon their skills. The ROE offers multiple extracurricular opportunities for student interaction and involvement throughout the school year. This includes acting as a regional partner for the Scripps National Spelling Bee as well as holding our annual county-wide Student Photography Contest.
