The Kane County Regional Office of Education and Concordia University Chicago have partnered to offer graduate credits for select professional learning classes through Illinois Online Academy. Concordia University is based in River Forest, IL and has growing international and online graduate programs.

 

All classes offered through Illinois Online Academy are 100% online and self-paced with 60 days to complete. Select courses can be taken for graduate credits at a rate of an additional $125 per credit. Graduate credits may go towards various endorsements on a teacher’s PEL per approval of ISBE.

Administrator Academies

By statute, every administrator must complete a minimum of one approved academy annually and a minimum of five in each administrator certificate renewal period. 

 

The Illinois Online Academy provides a range of online academies that meet this criteria while providing research-based strategies to help you on you journey. Topics range from combatting educator burnout, meeting and presentation tips, restorative practices, and more.
