Retirement is an exciting event for so many… The Kane County Regional Office of Education (ROE) is sharing the announcement that Belvin Jordan, a Kane County ROE Youth Outreach team member, will be retiring this August.
Belvin Jordan, Youth Outreach, has been with the ROE for 20 years. Jordan has been a huge part of influencing the lives of the children she serves and showing them they can make a difference in the world. Jordan commented on her new journey into retirement “I’m looking forward to devoting myself to my Ministry, Basic Touch – developing women through building great relationships.” Jordan added, “I will miss working at the ROE with all my coworkers and the families we serve.”
Pat Dal Santo, Regional Superintendent at Kane County ROE, commented “Belvin Jordan’s impact on truancy will be missed. She has been instrumental in the Kane ROE’s social emotional approach to working with students who are truant from school. Belvin’s positive attitude and approach to life is unmatched. The Kane County ROE wishes Belvin many years of happiness in her retirement.”
