Kane County Regional Office of Education (ROE) is thrilled to announce that it has won two prestigious Blue Pencil & Gold Screen Awards from the National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC). The awards recognize excellence in government communication and were presented to Kane County ROE for its outstanding work in the Annual Report and Video Education categories. 

The 2022 Annual Report highlights the accomplishments and successes of Kane County ROE over the past year. The report showcases the efforts of the organization in promoting high-quality education and providing support services to students, teachers, and schools in Kane County. The report is designed to be easily accessible and engaging, with clear and concise messaging that captures the impact and importance of Kane County ROE’s work. 

The Video Education category award-winning video series, “#TuesdayTechTip,” is designed to help keep viewers up to date on the increased use of technology, especially in the education arena. These videos are designed to help navigate through the technology world and everyday tech issues in a quick and user-friendly way.

The NAGC is a national organization that recognizes outstanding achievement in government communication. The Blue Pencil & Gold Screen Awards are among the most prestigious awards in the field, and winning them is a significant achievement for any organization.

Online Courses

We provide timely and relevant support to educators in their journey to meet the ever-increasing demands of teaching and leading through a variety of synchronous and asynchronous online workshops. All offerings provide participants with research-based, relevant resources and help address the critical issues facing educators today.

Administrator Academies

By statute, every administrator must complete a minimum of one approved academy annually and a minimum of five in each administrator certificate renewal period. 

 

The Illinois Online Academy provides a range of online academies that meet this criteria while providing research-based strategies to help you on you journey. Topics range from combatting educator burnout, meeting and presentation tips, restorative practices, and more.
