This academy will provide Special Education Administrators with the knowledge and ability to apply and interpret the basics of school district finances, revenue sources, regulations for special education spending and reporting.

In addition, participants will learn tools to foster better communication between special education services and the business office in order to maximize supports and resources for students with special needs.

Participants should come prepared with their district’s most recent adopted Budget and Annual Financial Report.
